N°5

We have been roasting this coffee for several years for our hospitality partners, who were looking for a coffee with a more classic flavour profile. For our Espresso Blend N°5, we selected coffees without fruity notes and roasted them slightly darker than our usual profile, while maintaining a balanced combination of sweetness, body, and roast character.

Thanks to the consistently excellent feedback from our partners, we decided not to keep it exclusively for gastronomy but to make it available to our customers as well. Espresso Blend N°5 is a versatile all-rounder, easy to work with and known for producing a consistently rich crema.

BRAZIL SALITRE FARM

Salitre Farm is located in the renowned Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil at elevations between 1,120 and 1,236 meters and is run by Gabriel Alves Nunes in partnership with the Siqueira family. The farm was established through the collaboration of two traditional coffee-growing families, both of whom have been producing high-quality coffee in Minas Gerais for generations.

Gabriel represents the second generation of his family, whose company, Nunes Coffee, is internationally recognized for quality, innovation, and sustainability. The farm takes its name from its elevated location and the Mangabeiras River that flows through the land, and stands for modern agriculture in harmony with the environment and local communities.

INDIA CHOMBUKA COORG

Coorg is the largest and oldest coffee-growing region in India, located in the southwestern mountain ranges of Karnataka. The Sampigehalla and Athikaad plantations are owned by the Bopanna Iychetira family, who have been cultivating coffee for four generations.

The coffee trees grow under the primary shade of native deciduous and evergreen trees. Leaf litter and fruit residues support the growth of microorganisms and earthworms, which help aerate the soil and improve its health. Beekeeping also plays an important role in this holistic ecosystem, while on-farm composting completes the cycle of sustainable agricultural practices.

The coffee cherries of this Robusta variety are processed using the washed method.
