Specialty coffee is the real deal.

It’s not coffee traded on commodity markets, but built on direct relationships between producers, green coffee traders, and roasters. To meet our high standards of quality and flavour year-round, we work with a small number of carefully selected importers and trusted partners who assess cultivation, working conditions, quality, and grading on site.

We strongly believe in this approach. It allows us to focus on our core craft – refining and brewing coffee – while building an exciting and diverse portfolio. It keeps our daily work dynamic and ultimately elevates what matters most: the taste in the cup.

For us, every coffee is an individual with its own character we aim to bring to life. That’s why each coffee receives its own tailored roast profile.

Our roasts are always elegant – often light, never overpowering – with balanced roast notes that allow the intrinsic flavours of the coffee to shine, rather than the roast itself.

Quality control is key. Coffee is a natural product that changes over time, so roast profiles must be continuously adjusted to factors such as temperature, humidity, and bean age.

Through regular cuppings, we constantly review and refine our roasting recipes, ensuring the balance of temperature, heat application, and airflow remains precise.

Every batch is carefully evaluated for colour, aroma, body, aftertaste, balance, acidity, sweetness, bitterness, and clarity. With great attention to detail, we challenge established processes, explore new roasting techniques, and continuously learn to keep improving our craft.
